Universal Studios Japan’s new Shonen Jump attraction will have a 4-D theater Dragon Ball Z attraction when it launches this summer. Dragon Ball Z: The Real 4-D will feature a brand-new story, though details are sparse as of now.
Dragon Ball Z: The Real 4-D will center around the Super World Martial Arts Tournament. Whether or not it’ll be a side-story like the movies, or canon and intertwined with the current content on Dragon Ball Super is anyone’s guess.
Will we ever see Dragon Ball Z: The Real 4-D in the United States? The answer is a resounding: probably not. However, if you happen to be in Japan this summer, make sure you stop by Universal Studios Japan for an excellent anime-filled time.
Universal Studios Japan is currently hosting its “Cool Japan” attractions which includes “Attack on Titan The Real,” the theme park’s second Attack on Titan 4-D movie, The Godzilla the Real 4D attraction, a Detective Conan escape game, Monster Hunter the Real, and the Evangelion XR Ride. Universal Studios Japan’s Shonen Jump Summer rides broke records last year with attractions from popular works like Haikyu!!, One Piece, Dragon Ball Z, Death Note, Boruto, and My Hero Academia.
